Roberta Anderson, the daughter of Robert and Maxine (Dunkle) Bargman, was born May 21, 1938, in Westboro, Missouri. She attended Westboro High School, graduating in 1956. Roberta also attended business school in Des Moines, Iowa. 

In 1958, Roberta was united in marriage to Ralph Goodman. They became the parents of one son, Roger Alan. They later divorced. In 1962, Roberta was united in marriage to Don Hanlin. They became the parents of one daughter, Nanette Luellen. They later divorced. They made their home in the Tarkio, Missouri, area until 1968, when they moved to Sidney, Iowa. In 1971, they moved to Glenwood, Iowa, and then to Omaha, Nebraska, in 1978, where Roberta lived to the present time. 

Roberta was employed as a secretary for Northern Natural Gas Company in Sidney. While in Glenwood, she was employed at the state hospital and then worked various secretarial jobs in the Omaha area. Roberta was also employed as a secretary for the South Omaha Legion Post and published their newsletters. 

Roberta was a former member of the American Business Women’s Association and could type 110 words per minute. She loved spending time with her dogs. Roberta passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at her home in Omaha, at the age of 80.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by brother, Bill Bargman, and nephew, Mark Douglas Bargman. Survivors include son, Roger Alan Goodman and wife, Cindy, Rock Port, Missouri; daughter, Nanette Luellen Williams and her husband, Jack, Omaha; two grandchildren, Quinn Myles Goodman, Ashland, Oregon, and Tyler Williams, Omaha; one great-granddaughter, Abagail Goodman; sister-in-law, Carol Bargman, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; uncle, Glenn Bargman, St. Joseph, Missouri; nephew, Scott Bargman, Smithville, Missouri; two nieces, Tracy (Kent) Battmer, Kansas City, Missouri, and Tricia Bargman, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. 

A Celebration of Life Family Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday, June 21, 2019, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, Missouri, where friends will have the opportunity to share memories. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Roberta Anderson Memorial Fund.
