Residents and their families enjoyed an evening of good food, great entertainment and fireworks on Thursday, June 27, at Pleasant View’s annual 4th of July BBQ in Rock Port. Megan Twyman and Lynda Gfeller braved the heat to grill hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone. Andy Campbell, Chaplain from Three Rivers Hospice, provided the entertainment, enjoyed by everyone in attendance. Snappers and games of Human Hungry Hippos passed the time before dusk set in for the fireworks show. All enjoyed a nice fireworks display thanks to the generous donations of fireworks by Sheldon Fireworks, Liberty Fireworks and Watson Fireworks. Members of the Rock Port Volunteer Fire Department set off the fireworks.
