The Atchison County Commission met on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Present was: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, North District Commissioner Jim Quimby, and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission.

The commissioners voted to close regular session and open for the 2019 Board of Equalization hearings.

Clerk Susette Taylor administered the Board of Equalization oath to the board and hearings began.

Upon the closing of the Board of Equalization, the regular session of the Commission resumed.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Bills were reviewed and approved.

Month-end department reports were reviewed and approved.

Abatements to the tax books for May 2019 were approved as follows:
