On Thursday July 18, six officers of the Tarkio FBLA chapter attended CLUE in Chillicothe, Missouri. CLUE stands for Creating Leaders and Unleashing Excellence. Students participated in leadership activities, team building exercises, and also worked on chapter planning. These activities will help improve their leadership skills and better their chapter. They gathered fundraising ideas from other schools and plan to raise more money for their chapter’s community service project, contests, and conferences.

Members of the Tarkio FBLA also listened to a keynote speaker, Ashley Brinton. She taught students the importance of living their “why not.”  She encouraged students to fulfill their potential no matter what challenges they may come across. Ashley has the ability to connect with students through her enthusiasm and excitement. The way she talks about life’s challenges really encourages people to be their best. The key to success is being your best.
