The Atchison-Holt Missouri Retired Teachers Association and Public School Personnel (MRTA) Unit will meet Thursday, September 5, at the Tarkio Resource Center. All retired public school personnel are invited, and a special invitation has been sent to recently retired personnel. Atchison and Holt County school administrators are always welcome.

Tracy Lovett, children’s author, will present the program and is bringing books for attendees to purchase. Those who want to arrive early are invited to tour the Tarkio Activities Center.

The tour begins at 10:30 a.m. and the regular meeting begins at 11:00 a.m. An RSVP needs to be sent to Phyllis Dannar (660-446-3479 or pjdannar@gmail.com) as Nick White is catering the meal and a precise meal count is needed. The cost of the meal is $10.

The number one priority of MRTA is to promote and protect pensions, programs, and benefits of public school personnel in retirement.
