The Holt County Cancer Fund, Inc. is sponsoring a fundraiser at the Holt County Autumn Festival. The Cans for Cancer trailer is filled with cans, and fair attendees will be charged $1 to guess the number of cans in it. The trailer will be parked on the street with farm machinery so everyone can have a good look. A booth will be set up in the courtyard where the tickets will be sold. The person with the closest guess will be awarded $50 Saturday night at the fair.

The Cans for Cancer project has brought $36,315.14 into the fund and recycled 67,701 pounds of aluminum. The Holt County Cancer Fund, Inc. has paid out $71,400 to cancer patients traveling for treatments.
