Thanks to the generosity of the Harringtons, the Sodbusters building was recently gifted to the Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax, Missouri, Food Pantry. Due to deterioration of the old building, the food pantry needed to move. It is now located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio.

On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, Anita Sutter and Judy Henson with the food pantry and members of the Tarkio High School FFA and FCCLA Chapters, including Daniel Lesher, Brooke Lee, Alexis Brown, Katie Hall, Riley Lekey, Grace Peck, Josie King, Stormy Nordhausen, and FFA Advisor Dustin Lambertsen unloaded the car trailer full of supplies to their new home. A lot of work has been done to make this move possible, including installing a new floor, which was donated by Esser Flooring.

The food pantry, now at 315 Main Street, is open from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and 7:00-8:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month, as well as 9:00-11:00 a.m. on the third Thursday and fourth Tuesday and Thursday of each month. An official open house will be held at a later date.
