Secretary of State John Ashcroft was making the rounds on Monday, September 16, 2019, as he visited with Atchison County Clerk Susette Taylor. Susette was able to bring Mr. Ashcroft up to date on the flooding in Atchison County. Mr. Ashcroft also talked about the upcoming changes taking place with his office in Jefferson City.
