The Tarkio Chamber of Commerce is falling into the festive spirit! This autumn, the chamber is encouraging Tarkio residents to create a fall masterpiece, whether it be a fall decoration set-up or a scarecrow. Grand prizes will be awarded to one resident and one business for scarecrows and one resident and one business for fall decor.

To enter the contest, you must register your display by October 24 at 9:00 a.m. by contacting the Tarkio Avalanche at 660-736-4111 or stopping by the office at 521 Main Street. Have fun with it! There have been some spectacular and hilarious displays over the years and everyone enjoys seeing them!
