The East Atchison Wolves will celebrate their 2019 Fall Homecoming next week. This year’s theme at Tarkio High School is “It’s Showtime!”. Fairfax High School’s Fall Homecoming theme is “Black Out.” The students will participate in dress up days and class contests at both schools that week and business windows on both Main Streets will be decked out in painted pride. The public is invited to join in the celebration at the following events:

Wednesday, October 9

6:30 p.m., EA flag football teams will take on the high school Wolves football team at the Fairfax Football Field. An EA Wolves jersey auction will follow the game and then a bonfire will be held.

Thursday, October 10

5:30 p.m., Pink-Out JV/V volleyball game vs. West Nodaway at the TAC. A bake sale, shout-outs, and auction will also be held to help raise money for locals fighting cancer.

Friday, October 11

1:30 p.m., Homecoming Parade on Main Street in Tarkio followed by a pep assembly at the football field.

7:00 p.m., Football Game vs. Stewartsville at Tarkio with coronation to follow. THS homecoming royalty includes: queen candidates – Jae Barnett, Anna Klute, and Taylor Stanton; king candidates – Jordan Goodin, Gus Hurst, Jake McEnaney, and Keaton Williams. FHS homecoming royalty includes: queen candidates – McKenzie Frohn, Jaycee Graves, and Jesse Graves; king – Trey Bowling.

9:00 p.m.-?, 5th Quarter Student Celebration (food/games/music) at the TAC.
