The TEC Club met Tuesday, October 24, at Aunt Martha’s B&B in Fairfax, Missouri. One member was still vacationing so Sharon Smith filled her place.

It was a day with so much laughing and yelling that I was thankful we weren’t really close to a neighbor, for we might have been called for disturbing the peace. I think the noise inspired me for I won high score, Susan Braams won second high and Pam Cooper laughed her way into low score.

Norma Bradfield was hostess and served an apple cake with ice cream on top. The recipe was one that Mary Anne Pennel used to bring to pitch and we still miss her so much.

We hated to leave, but after cheering for the opening of the Route J bridge, two ladies had roof and gutter repair men coming, another had a birthday party to attend, I had to put gas in the car, etc., but we parted still talking and giggling as we went out the door.
