The Community Hospital Auxiliary met on September 19, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. in the Conference Room at the hospital in Fairfax, Missouri. The meeting began with 11 members reciting the Auxiliary Prayer. The minutes of the previous meeting and the Treasurer’s report were approved as presented.

Dina Ridley, representing the hospital, showed appreciation for the equipment donations made in the past and expressed one of the current equipment needs. Our group later voted to give $8,589 towards the purchase of a transport incubator hood.

We are still selling tickets for chances to win our beautiful quilt. It can be seen outside the Sunshine Corner Gift Shop and will also be displayed at the Quilt Show in the Rock Port High School gym on October 26. You may purchase chances at either of these places or from any Auxiliary member.

We are looking forward to the upcoming events on our calendar. We are always happy to welcome new members and anyone is welcome and encouraged to join us! The next meeting will be October 17 at 1:30 p.m. in the Hospital Conference Room.

We will have our fall bake sale on Tuesday, November  26, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We will have our Angel Memorial Tree set up in the hospital lobby before November 26. You may purchase an angel in memory of a loved one or in honor of a loved one. With each angel placed on the tree, the person purchasing the angel receives a lace angel to place on their tree at home.
