The Watson Quilters decided to try a new time for the winter time. We will now meet at 2:30 on Thursday afternoons. Those attending last week were Donna Whelan, Teresa Hickok, Tammy Oakes, Holly Holmes, Frances Nahkunst, Linda Viets, and Kay Gibson. Holly gave us a demonstration of how to make festive candleholder wreaths and zippered bags. This coming week, Donna will demonstrate how to make the rugs out of jelly rolls.
LIFE
For 57 years, it was “Us”
Now it is just me.
But I’ll never get used
To life being “I”
instead of “we.”
Only the good Lord knows
The reason it had to be
That I have to learn
Life being “I”
instead of “we.”
Be sure and say,
“I love you”
To loved ones that you see
We never know when
Life might be “I”
instead of “we.”
