The Tarkio Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Halloween Parade Thursday, October 31, in Tarkio. Spooks and characters are encouraged to join in the contest. Registration begins at 3:30 p.m. at the Farmers State Bank parking lot and the parade will begin at 4:00 p.m. The children will parade down Main Street and end at the US Bank lot for the announcement of winners (prizes for winners in categories infant to 6th grade). If it rains or is too cold, the event will take place in the Community Building in Tarkio. The Chamber is asking for candy donations for the Halloween Parade. Please take a bag to the girls at the US Bank by October 25 to help fill the bags.

The Tarkio Nutrition Center (located at 412 Main Street) is hosting a chili supper on Thursday, October 31. Stop by after the Halloween Parade and dine on delicious chili and cinnamon rolls from 4:00-6:00 p.m. There will also be candy for the kids. Free will donations will be accepted.
