Whereas, Rotary International and the Tarkio Rotary Club have participated in the Polio Eradication Program known as Polio Plus since 1985,

And the eradication of the polio virus is becoming a reality in the near future,

And in recognition of the extraordinary efforts of Rotary International, the World Health Organization and their partners including the Tarkio Rotary Club in this endeavor,

And in recognition of World Polio Day International as declared by the above,
