Joey Herron scored Rock Port’s only touchdown in Friday night’s game against Mound City.

The Rock Port Blue Jays traveled to Mound City for the first round of District 4 action on Friday, November 1, 2019.

In the second drive of the game, Rock Port’s running back  Joey Herron would bust one up the middle to put the only points for Rock Port on the board. At the end of the first quarter the score was 28-6 Mound City.

At the end of the second quarter, with the score 52-6, Rock Port Head Coach Dalton Jones elected to call the game.

It was a tough year for the Blue Jays and we say good-bye to five seniors: Alex Burke, Kalen LaHue, Gabe Minter, Austin Stoner and Kade Jones. Good luck with the rest of your senior year.
