The guest speaker at the Tarkio High School Veterans Day Assembly Tuesday, November 12, 2019, was Micah Persell of Lincoln, Nebraska. Micah enlisted in the US Air Force and attended Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He was deployed to Manas Air Force Base in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in 2006-07 in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
