Fairfax Sorosis met Monday, November 18, 2019, at the Fairfax Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Fairfax, Missouri. Roll call was answered with naming your favorite Thanksgiving salad.  Cranberry seemed to be a favorite with the ladies, but some members mentioned that their husbands did not care for cranberries. That started a conversation about Thanksgiving meals and favorite recipes.

Barbara Jones was hostess and suggested we give  a donation to the food pantry. Everyone agreed that it was indeed a time for sharing.

Plans for the Christmas exchange were made and then the word cookies sparked another conversation because years ago Sorosis took plates of cookies to shut ins.

The meeting ended with Barbara serving a luscious pumpkin cheesecake and the social committee was put in charge of the Christmas party.  Everyone left giving thanks for friendship and fellowship.
