The Community Hospital-Fairfax Auxiliary met November 21 in the Hospital Conference Room with 17 members and two guests in attendance. We were happy to have Julie Vaughn, our District Director, join us. She addressed the group and offered information about the changes we may be seeing in the future at the trade show and convention. She also announced that we will be combining District 1 and District 2 at the spring meeting in May. We were happy to have Lisa Doyle, from Tarkio, join us as a visitor.

The minutes of the previous meeting and the treasurer’s reports were approved as presented.

The CH-F Gift Shop has many new Christmas items on display and there were also some special sale items in the hall for #ShopAC. We appreciate the support and participation of those who visited the gift shop that evening.

The auxiliary will be showing our appreciation to the hospital staff and employees on December 4 with an appreciation tea in the conference room. We will also be recognizing the auxiliary members and employees by offering them employee discount days.

The Angel Tree is up in the hallway at the hospital. In the spirit of the Christmas season, a special person in your life can be remembered by you honoring them or in memory of them. For $10 you will place a metal angel with your loved one’s name on it, on the tree in the lobby. You will also receive a crocheted angel to take home and put on your tree.

We will not be having a meeting in December. Our next meeting will be January 16, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. in the conference room at the hospital. Holiday blessings from the Community Hospital Auxiliary!
