The Brownville Concert Series has announced its 30th incredible season, “Thanks for the Memory.” The Brownville Concert Series offers exceptional musicianship in a small, intimate venue creates an experience unlike any other. Brownville audiences are up close and personal with the artists, become part of the show, and feel enveloped in the music.

The 2020 concert series is:

Todd Murray & Stacy Sullivan – Lady & The Tramp (April 17-19). The musical romance of Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee: from the time they first shared the stage in 1941 at the Paramount Theater in Times Square until Frank’s passing in 1998, Peggy Lee and Frank Sinatra remained the closest of friends and musical peers.

Jeff Harner will return to the Brownville Concert Series in May with his show, Because of You: Fifties Gold.

Jeff Harner – Because of You: Fifties Gold (May 15-17). Award-winning New York nightclub and concert artist Jeff Harner returns to the Brownville Concert Series for the ninth time with his critically acclaimed show Because of You: Fifties Gold. The show taps into his parents’ record collection, highlighting songs from the Tony Bennet, Johnny Mathis, Nat “King” Cole, Doris Day and Johnnie Ray songbooks.

Elvis Rock ’N Remember – Tribute Show (June 5-7). In Hall’s Elvis Rock ’N Remember show, he achieves a powerful flashback experience to the moment when fans fell in love with the talented, handsome, carefree, energetic, high-spirited young man that is Elvis Presley.

Lonnie McFadden will perform at the Brownville Concert Hall in July 2020.

Lonnie McFadden – Singer, Tap Dancer, Trumpeter (July 17-19). There is nothing he can’t do! His infectious personality is only matched by his obvious passion for his jazz music. Lonnie, the self-proclaimed Mr. Bojangles, goes into each performance with the intent of creating a personal connection and a good dose of fun.

William Ferguson – Tenor (August 30). American tenor William Ferguson is a versatile artist whose repertoire ranges from early baroque to contemporary music and musical theatre. The program will span several languages and genres – from baroque masters, German lieder, French melodies, English classical song, as well as selections from the American Songbook (in honor and memory of Jim Keene). French, German, and English will be the languages represented – maybe even some Italian too.

KT Sullivan & Mark Nadler – Thanks for the Memory! (September 18-20). There are some performers who, though possessing completely different styles and personalities, blend in a wholly enjoyable way. The duo of KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler is a prime example of this phenomenon, most recently in their show “Thanks for The Memory, 25 Years of Duets” at The Green Room 42.

Chris Jones & The Night Drivers (October 16-18). This band has had 11 number one songs on the Bluegrass Charts and won nine IBMA awards including song of the year and songwriter of the year. They have shared the stage with Alison Krauss, Tom T. Hall, The Chieftains and more!

Beethoven & Beyond – Great music for cello and piano, celebrating 250 years of inspiration (November 15). Cellist Jennifer Kloetzel has concertized throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. A founding member of the Cypress String Quartet, Ms. Kloetzel has toured the world. Pianist Robert Koenig has established a reputation as a much sought-after collaborative pianist and chamber musician.

The 2020 Christmas Gala – A Swinging Brownville Christmas will feature Billy Stritch, Klea Blackhurst, and Jim Caruso (pictured above, left to right).

Christmas Gala – A Swinging Brownville Christmas (December 11-13) – In the tradition of beloved seasonal specials, Klea Blackhurst, Jim Caruso, and Billy Stritch will perform swinging arrangements of “Christmas Waltz,” Kay Thompson’s “Holiday Season,” “Sleigh Ride,” and “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm,” “Snow,” and “It Happened In Sun Valley” among other favorites. The singers will be joined by Steve Doyle on bass and Daniel Glass on drums.

The Nebraska Arts Council (www.nebraskaartscouncil.org), a state agency, supports this program through a matching grant funded by the Nebraska Legislature, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
