
The kindergarten, first and second grade classes were very excited to sing along during “Flakes” at the Rock Port Elementary Christmas Program.

Members of the third grade classes played the parts as snowflakes and “Snirts” during the Christmas program at Rock Port Elementary on Monday, Dec. 16, 2019. The program included several songs and solos that the kindergarten through third graders sang.

Lexi Stoner, Reese Herron, Ellie Garst, Malayna Gibson and Ona Henricksen helped sing a song called “One in a Million” during the Rock Port Elementary School Christmas Program “Flakes” on Monday, Dec., 16, 2019.

Kindergarten and first graders sang as the chorus during the elementary school program. Songs included “We’re Flakes” and “Nothing Wrong and We’re Flakes.”
The 2019 Rock Port Elementary Christmas Program, “Flakes: a Musical Celebration of Snow, Slush and Snirt!” was held Monday, December 16, 2019.
Students from Little Jays’ Preschool and kindergarten through third grade, directed by Lynn Hunter, performed several songs.
“Cold Snap” featured ensembles by snowflakes Reese Herron, Jaecy-Mae Makings, Ona Henriksen, Stevie Gaines, Adrianna Wallace, Madison Wilroy, Tenley Peshek, Katelynn Rouse, Millie Ripley, Anna Weber, and Ellie Garst.
“We’re Flakes,” featured snowflakes Rozlyn McCown, Leah Meyerkorth and Alexi Stoner and “Snirt” featured snirt rappers Isaac Shimmel, Grant Spiegel, Holdyn Moore, Eli Cox, Blaise Krogen and Jacob McMahon.
Other performers who had special appearances included snirts: Tristan Struthers, Cameron Lotter, Grady Cook, Jayven Hudson, Remington Mathews, and Hunter Shearer-Bolin, and snowflakes: Alexi Stoner, Rozlyn McCown, and Malayna Gibson. The elementary students also performed “Nothing Wrong,” “One in a Million and “We’re Flakes.”
The Little Jays’ Pre-School students performed the songs “Everybody’s Going on a Sleigh Ride,” “Snowflakes,” Little Snowflakes,” and “Goodbye, Snowman.”
