The Atchison County Commission met Thursday, December 26, 2019. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, North District Commissioner Jim Quimby, and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission.

Presiding Commissioner Livengood called the meeting to order.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Bills were reviewed and approved.

Greg Beck, Maintenance Supervisor, met with the commission to discuss moving forward with the water line replacement. Options were discussed and it was decided to have a new water meter added for the courthouse and have the line run in directly. Greg will contact the City of Rock Port and discuss options.

The commission went out to look at 150th Street. The commissioners have told Fagen, LLC (contractor for the Outlaw Project) that if this road is needed for access to turbines, it will have to be pushed as part of the construction. Fagen has stated it was not part of their contract and they will not push it. If Ameren needs access to turbine sites following construction, the county will not push snow on this section.

There being no further business, the commission adjourned.
