Vernon F. Rhoades, son of the late Vernie A. Rhoades and Phyllis Rhoades, and Debbie Slemp, daughter of the late Wes and Beverley Slemp, were married January 4, 1970, at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church in Fairfax, Missouri.
