William Delmar “Bill” Lee, the son of Gerald Francis and Virginia Lea (Wallace) Lee, was born on October 22, 1971. Bill graduated from Tarkio High School in 1990. Following graduation, Bill worked for Dr. Espey in Tarkio, Kawasaki Corp., Maryville, Missouri, Ag Partners, Tarkio, and also helped farmers in the area.
On August 2, 1997, Bill was united in marriage to Barbara Hardy at the United Methodist Church, Tarkio, by Rev. Culver. They made their home in Tarkio and became the parents of two daughters, Megan and Brooke. Bill was employed by NAPA Auto Parts stores in Tarkio and Rock Port, Missouri, Agri-Vision, Hamburg, Iowa, and was currently employed at Advanced Pork Systems in Tarkio. Bill loved the outdoors and working livestock on the family farm. Bill was a wonderful son, husband and dad to his girls. He loved his family deeply. Bill passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019, at his home, at the age of 48.
Bill attended the Tarkio United Methodist Church and was a member of the Tarkio Baptist Church. He also served on the Atchison County Fair Board.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Lee. Survivors include his wife, Barb Lee; daughters, Megan Lee and Brooke Lee, Tarkio; mother, Cindy Lee, Tarkio; and sister, Missy (Robert) McClellan, Barnard, Missouri.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 3, 2020, at the United Methodist Church, Tarkio. Interment was at Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
