The annual Chili/Soup Cook-Off at the United Methodist Church in Tarkio, Missouri, will be held this Sunday, February 9, at 5:00 p.m. This year, in addition to awards for Best Chili and Best Soup, there will be a Best Dessert category. First, second and third place prizes will be presented in each category. Everyone is welcome to enter with contestants asked to have their entries at the fellowship hall of the church at 201 North 6th Street no later than 5:00 p.m. If area residents just want to come enjoy a free, delicious meal, make plans now to attend, eat, and place votes for a favorite chili, soup and dessert. Winners will be announced around 6:15 p.m.
