The volunteers at the Rock Port Center are the backbone of the day-to-day work load.  They deliver meals, count money, wipe tables, help in the kitchen for holiday and fundraiser events.

Carmen Ellison, director, said, “We are so grateful for their dedication to serve at the center. Now, some volunteers are no longer able to deliver meals. We are in serious need of two new volunteers to take on a home delivery route.”

The routes are all in town and take about 30 minutes or less. They are every other week, so you would be volunteering for mostly only twice a month. Both routes are on Thursday.

Please consider volunteering to help deliver meals to those unable to leave their home. It is a rewarding experience and the clients love seeing new people. Call 660-744-5812 if you can volunteer!
