The celebration for Valentine’s Day at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, began with the coronation of Doyne Swan as king and Winona Cooper as queen.

Brenda and Mandy had a race to see who could unwrap candy the fastest wearing socks on their hands. Mandy was the winner.

Shawn Minter sang a few love songs, which was enjoyed by all in attendance. The dietary team served everyone steak, shrimp, baby baker potatoes, seven layer salad, hot rolls, and cheesecake. Spouses of residents were invited to share the celebration.

The Fairfax 4-H Club made Valentines for all the residents. Sandy Zach brought valentines and chocolate for her Bible study group on Thursday, February 13. The residents appreciate everyone’s efforts in making this a special day at Pleasant View.
