Atchison County Development Corporation (ACDC) held its annual community luncheon on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at the Rock Port Country Club. Around 35 Rock Port community members were treated to a lunch prepared by FC Food Country.

Following the meal, Director Monica Bailey introduced Alderman Todd Stevens, who talked about the current activities going on with the City of Rock Port. This summer they are planning to continue the street projects, along with looking at refinancing the current street bond.

Monica then introduced Regan Griffin with the Atchison County Levee District #1. He reported on the current project going on with the levees. The district is much closer to having the hole closed, but there is still much work to be completed.

Director Bailey wrapped up the meeting highlighting many of the actives currently going on with ACDC.
