Residents in Atchison County are enjoying the Easter activities set up during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pictured above is the egg hunt at the Rock Port Golf and Country Club and below is one of the sites of the Tarkio Easter Scavenger Hunt using QR codes.

Several activities in Atchison County are helping residents celebrate Easter COVID-19-style while adhering to state mandates of the same family in a vehicle while enjoying the Easter bunny’s shenanigans.

In Tarkio, Nancy Hurst with Soaks ’Em Clean Laundromat is inviting all to participate in an Easter Scavenger Hunt using QR codes (you will need a QR reader to participate). Start at the laundromat on Main Street and scan the code to reveal where to go next. Enjoy the hunt!

In Rock Port, the Easter Egg Drive Thru is up and going at the Golf and Country Club! A total of 28 eggs are ready to be spotted! It’ll be a great way to get the kids out for a drive!!

Fairfax held a Car Easter Egg Hunt around town this past weekend. The top count was 876 eggs found around Fairfax. Several families participated in the hunt, put together by Fairfax Kiwanis, Fairfax Agency (Bob and Marilyn Alldredge), Tabitha (Taylor) Wintz, Krys (Fisher) Carlock, and others. The kids had a blast and were awarded Easter baskets full of goodies!
