Dear RPHS Students, Families,

and Community Members,

I hope that this letter finds you well. With the official closure of all Missouri schools, we have updated our plan for the remainder of the spring semester.

Below is a timeline that will help guide us through the next few weeks:

Locker Cleanout (April 27 – 30)

Students will come in during designated time slots to clean lockers and return textbooks. Time slots are determined by grade level and last name. We ask that students enter the east side of the school wearing a mask covering (we will have extras available). Students should come in, clean out lockers, turn in textbooks, and exit as quickly as possible. Hard surfaces will be cleaned often during this time. If your scheduled time slot does not work, please contact Mr. Parsons and we will make alternate arrangements.

Graduation (June 14)

With the hopes of fewer restrictive guidelines on hosting a safe ceremony, commencement has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. We will reevaluate what graduation will look like and communicate that plan as we get closer to the date.

Summer Weightlifting & Camps (TBD)

Our summer weightlifting program and other camps have been paused. We will communicate start dates as we know more information.

I sure hope that we can resume normalcy in the near future. In the meantime, try to appreciate this time with your families and find the good in our current situation. If there is anything you need of me or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Stay safe, Blue Jays!

Sincerely,

Donnie Parsons
