The Atchison County Library’s new Summer Reading Challenge began June 8th with virtual programs for different ages.

Besides experiencing the fun of reading, participants will receive ongoing surprises that include activities and projects to help pass the warm days of summer. The program will temporarily replace the traditional summer activities that the library usually hosts.

Several readers have picked up their registration bags at the library. The program is for all young readers in the county and will continue through June and July. Sign up through the library’s website at youseemore.com/acl or call 660-744-5404 for questions.

Anyone who does not have access to a computer may still join the challenges by registering through the library and submitting a paper log at the end of each program. Prizes will be awarded throughout the summer and may be picked up at your local branch when announced.
