A one-vehicle accident occurred on MO 46 outside of Fairfax, Missouri, June 15, 2020. The accident happened when a 2018 Ford SUV, driven by Ashley M. Duddy, 25, of Skidmore, Missouri, was westbound on MO 46.

Approximately one-half mile west of P Avenue, eight miles east of Fairfax, a deer ran into the roadway and was struck by the SUV. The vehicle came to a stop on the north shoulder.

Duddy, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. The 2018 Ford SUV sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

The accident was investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper T.L. Shupe.
