Tarkio College/Tarkio Technology Institute will be hosting a grand re-opening and dedication ceremony Saturday, September 12, 2020. Tarkio College would like to invite the public to the event to celebrate the recent relaunch of the campus. Tarkio Technology Institute President John Davis said, “As we begin our first full academic year of operation as Tarkio Technology Institute, we want to celebrate the lengthy process of re-establishing our presence on the historic campus. We have so many people to thank and such a great reason to celebrate.”

The event will take place in front of Rankin Hall and will provide space for all those in attendance to maintain proper social distancing. Following the ceremony, the Tarkio College Board of Directors will be planting a legacy tree between Rankin Hall and Thompson Learning Center, followed by an informal reception on the grounds.

“We will continue to monitor the ever-changing landscape as it relates to COVID-19 and will monitor the guidelines set by the Atchison County Health Department. We will be broadcasting the ceremony on Facebook live. This will allow those who prefer not to attend in person to be part of the celebration,” said Davis. “Additional details will be available on our website at tarkiotech.com or our Facebook page “tarkio tech.”
