Jim Crawford from the University of Missouri Extension was the guest speaker at the July 28, 2020, meeting of the Tarkio Rotary Club. He shared with Rotarians that fall is the perfect time to plant trees and shrubs. They can be moved and planted until November 1. Water is essential to getting the roots established. It’s too late to spray for bag worms! Now, just pick them off and put in soapy water. If Japanese Beetles are an issue, your lawn can be sprayed for white grubs.
