Micah Makings dives across the goal line for six points against Stewartsville/Osborn.

Trey Peshek goes up and snags the pass from Micah Makings to move the ball to the four yard line.

The Osborn/Stewartsville Wildcards traveled to Blue Jay Stadium last Friday night, September 11, 2020.

Rock Port won the toss and elected to receive. With a short kick out of bounds the Jays started on the 31 yard line. Ten plays later on a quick drive up the middle Micah Making punched the ball in for six points and Joey Herron’s two-point conversion was good.

The Wildcards were able to move the ball down the field to start their first offensive series. Moving it to the Jays’ nine yard line and on a fourth down and six, defensive backs Aidan Burke and Trey Peshek broke up a pass play to turn the ball over on downs. Five plays later Micah Makings hit Trey Peshek for six and the two point conversion was no good making the score 14-0.

Rock Port would continue to have success on offense all night as they went on to beat the Wildcards 72-26.

The Blue Jays will take on NorthWest Nodaway at home for Homecoming on Friday night.
