Fairfax R-3 School will be operating a free breakfast/lunch program for all PreK-12 students effective through December. No one will be charged for lunch until further notice. Fairfax will be preparing lunches for students according to the following plan:

Families with children not attending onsite:

• Families who do not have children onsite but who wish to take advantage of this program must notify the Fairfax elementary office at 660-686-2421 ext. 2 in order to be enrolled (please leave a voicemail).

• Once enrolled, meals will be prepared each day for offsite families for whoever is signed up.

• Only single meals with a choice of chocolate or white milk will be provided. Families must specify which type of milk they need.

• Offsite families may pick up breakfast between 7:30 and 7:50 a.m. each day at the elementary entrance. No breakfasts will be served to offsite families after 7:50 a.m.

• Offsite families may pick up lunch between 10:45 and 11:15 a.m. each day at the elementary entrance. No lunches will be served to offsite families after 11:15 a.m.

• For onsite students, all meals (their first breakfast and first lunch) will be provided for free. Extra meals and extra milks, etc., will be charged to the students’ accounts.

TARKIO R-I

Tarkio R-I School District  will also operate a free breakfast/lunch program for all PreK-12 students through December 2020. No one will be charged for lunch until further notice.

All PreK-12 children enrolled in school are eligible, as well as all children ages 1-18 who are not enrolled in school and all virtual learners.

ROCK PORT R-II

The Rock Port R-II School District also received word that it was approved for the Seamless Summer Option  (SSO) for free student meals.

Rock Port R-II received approval for the month of September.

Every student who eats a breakfast or lunch beginning September 8 through September 30 will receive their meal free of charge. Extra meals, or ala carte purchases, will still be charged at the regular rate. The free meals are offered to any child ages 0-18.
