The East Atchison Lady Wolves Golf Team has had a very busy, yet successful season so far.

In their fourth event of the season, the girls traveled to Maryville, Missouri, September 15. EA was edged out by Maryville by nine strokes: Maryville 210 to EA 219. Lady Wolves’ individual scores included: Alex Barnett, 54; Josie King, 54; Kelsea Kirwan, 55; and Bryli Staten, 56

The EA girls competed in the Stanberry Quad meet in Stanberry, Missouri, September 16. The Lady Wolves finished 1st with a 221, followed by Worth County in 2nd with 255 and Albany in 3rd with 266. Lady Wolf Bryli was the match medalist with a 51. Other Lady Wolves’ scores include: Alex Barnett, 54; Kelsea Kirwan, 52; and Josie King, 62.

The Lady Wolves recently competed in the Johnson County Central Invitational in Tecumseh September 17. The Lady Wolves finished 3rd as a team with a score of 426. Individual EA stats include: 5th, Kelsea Kirwan, 103; 7th, Alex Barnett, 106; 8th, Bryli Staten, 106; and 13th, Josie King, 111.

The girls then traveled to Albany, Missouri, September 21, to compete in the Albany Best Shot tournament. Lady Wolves Alex Barnett and Bryli Staten finished 1st overall with a score of 82. Lady Wolves Kelsea Kirwan and Josie King also finished in the top 10 with a 91.

The EA girls are scheduled to compete against Rock Port October 6 for their last match of the season before Districts October 12.
