East Atchison (EA) traveled to Stewartsville, Missouri, Friday, October 9, to take on the WildCards of Osborn and Stewartsville.

Both teams had trouble getting things going at the beginning of the game. It was a slow pace, with too many mistakes. EA had trouble hanging on to the ball, but that finally changed going into the second quarter as the Wolves came out of hibernation and started scoring at will. Within 12 minutes the Wolves were able to put up 44 points on the board with touchdowns from Kaylin Merriweather, Jarrett Spinnato, and Braden Graves. The Wolves would go into half-time with a 38 point lead.

After half-time, Merriweather’s 19 yard run and Ian Hedlund’s two-point conversion would combine for eight points to end the game early in the third quarter.

The Wolves move to 4 and 1. They will be traveling to Stanberry, Missouri, to take on the 5 and 1 Bulldogs. Good luck!
