Fairfax is hosting its Light Night celebration Saturday, November 28, at the city park. However, there will be changes this year. The 2019 Miss Fairfax Gena Mitchell will be turning on the lights at 6:00 p.m., but there will not be a public gathering. Santa will come to the park on a fire truck and sit outside the house on the northwest side of the park and people will drive by and talk to Santa through their open car windows (a face-masked elf will hand out candy provided by the Fairfax Wolverines 4-H Club).
