The City of Fairfax Board of Aldermen held a regular meeting January 20, 2021. The meeting was called to order by Michael Oswald, Alderman, at 6:30 p.m. Role was taken. Also in attendance were: Kristi Duering, Beth Graves, and Tabitha Wintz, Alderman; John Brown, Water Superintendent; and Danny Kemerling, Treasurer.  Ryan Kingery, Mayor, joined the meeting at 6:45 p.m. Lori Helfers, City Clerk, was absent.

The tentative agenda was approved unanimously.

The minutes of the December 16, 2020, meeting were approved.

Accounts payable was also approved.

New Business

Discussion was held concerning unsightly properties. Letters will be sent out.

Discussion was held concerning insurance coverage on some of the structures in both parks. The aldermen voted to add coverage to the current insurance. 

Staff Reports

Danny Kemerling presented his treasurer’s report showing that all accounts are in balance.

John Brown presented his report.
