Marvin I. Rosenbohm, the son of Herbert and Agnes (Cooper) Rosenbohm, was born April 10, 1941, in Langdon, Missouri. Marvin attended Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri, graduating in 1959.

On November 29, 1962, Marvin was united in marriage to Ellen Mae Schlup in Nettleton, Missouri. They became the parents of four children, Marlena, Jennifer, Carolyn, and Marvin, II.

Marvin farmed and worked as a carpenter and painter. He was then employed as a beef plant laborer until closing. Marvin enjoyed gardening and fishing when his health would allow. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather who always provided for his children and grandchildren.

Marvin was a baptized and confirmed member of First Lutheran Church, Rock Port. He was a former member of Luther League and 4-H Club, Rock Port. Marvin passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, at the age of 79.

Besides his parents and wife, Ellen Rosenbohm, Marvin was preceded in death by siblings, Gene Rosenbohm and Syrena (Schlup) Coolidge; and brother-in-law, Larry Schlup; aunts, Gertrude Rosenbohm and Evelyn Rosenbohm; nephew, Allen H. Rosenbohm, Jr.; and niece, Pamela (Schlup) Jacobs. Survivors include children, Marlena (Charles) Haynes, Auburn, Nebraska, Jennifer Hamilton, Rock Port, Carolyn (Tom) Gilliland, Maryville, Missouri, and Marvin, II (Jolene) Rosenbohm, Northboro, Iowa; grandchildren, Levi (Karlee Clifton) Haynes, Chelsea (Austin) Powell, Lindsey and Torrey Hamilton, Nathaniel Nicolas, Shelby, Thomas, and Saidee Gilliland, and Slade and Garret Rosenbohm; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Allen (Carolyn) Rosenbohm, Rock Port; sister-in-law, Mary Rosenbohm, Noel, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews; and special cousins, Lawrence and Marietta Wedel, Rock Port.

A memorial service was held Monday, March 22, 2021, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, Missouri. Rev. Glenn Scott officiated. Inurnment was held at Hunter Cemetery, Rock Port.
