The Atchison County Development Corporation board met April 14, 2021, via Zoom. Present were: Bob Alldredge, W.C. Farmer, Craig Corken, Lori Seymour, Roger Martin, Jeff Meyer, Eryn Stepp, board members; and Monica Bailey, director.

The meeting was called to order by Lori Seymour.

The March meeting minutes and financials were approved.

Director’s Report

• Job shadowing is taking place on several different days this month.

• Springtime #ShopAC is scheduled for Thursday, April 29. Participating businesses (25 so far) will stay open until 8:00 p.m. For every $10 spent, shoppers will be entered to win one of five $50 gift certificates to an Atchison County store of their choice.

• Business Improvement Program update: Basic Grant – three awarded, $7,000 remaining. 2.0 grant – three awarded, $4,246 remaining.

• ACDC continues to support local nonprofits like Restore Rock Port and Tarkio Renewal.

New Business

Scholarship recipients were selected.
