Members of the Fairfax United Methodist Church met Sunday, April 18, at one of the three Fairfax Growing Hope Globally Project fields. Bob Sefrit welcomed everyone and answered questions about the projects and the goal of Growing Hope which is to help subsistent farmers grow their own food and earn an income which makes positive changes that will last. Pastor Andrew led the dedication of the growing projects and donations for the coming year. This year the Fairfax Growing Hope Project is supporting programs in Nicaragua and Haiti. The evening concluded with a wiener roast and fellowship.
