EA Wolves’ varsity baseball team competed against South Holt in Forest City, Missouri, Tuesday, April 13, 2021. The game came down to the last play, but unfortunately the Wolves were on the losing end of the 7-8 score. The game was tied at seven with South Holt batting in the bottom of the eighth when an error scored one run for South Holt.
The Wolves had four runs in the fourth inning. Braden Graves, Cameron Oswald, Josh Smith, and Cory Stevens powered the big inning with RBIs. Oswald started the game as pitcher for the Wolves. He allowed five hits and six runs over four innings, striking out five. Josh Smith also took the mound, throwing three and two-thirds innings in relief. Individual EA stats follow:
