The East Atchison Wolves varsity and junior varsity baseball teams traveled to Maysville, Missouri, Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Both EA teams lost.
The Wolves fell 7-8 to Maysville despite out-hitting them 10 to seven. Carter Holecek, Cameron Oswald, Braden Graves, and Josh Smith each had two hits and Bo Graves and Aaron Schlueter both contributed one each. Oswald had one homerun in the fourth inning. Oswald led the Wolves in RBIs with four and Bo Graves, Braden Graves, and Cory Stevens added one each.
Oswald led things off on the pitcher’s mound for the Wolves. He allowed five hits and five runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out nine. Josh Smith threw two innings out of the bullpen. Individual EA stats follow:
