NWMSU releases spring honor rolls

The Office of the Registrar at Northwest Missouri State University (NWMSU) in Maryville recently announced students named to the Academic or President’s honor rolls at the end of the 2021 spring semester. To be included on the Academic Honor Roll, a student must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours and attain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or above on a 4.00 scale. Students named to the President’s Honor Roll have attained a perfect 4.00 GPA for the semester.

Atchison County students named to the Academic or President’s honor rolls for the 2021 spring semester at NWMSU are as follow:

Academic – Garrett Ball, Fairfax; Catyn Chamberlain and Payton Schomburg, Rock Port; Jacqueline Barnett, Taylor Brown, Chloe Bruns, and Jake McEnaney, Tarkio; and Brock Martin, Watson.

President – Melanie Wilson, Rock Port.

Jeffries earns degree from Central Methodist

This spring’s commencement at Central Methodist University was split into two indoor ceremonies on Saturday, May 8, allowing nearly 200 graduates to receive their degrees in front of friends and family in Puckett Fieldhouse.

Micah Edward Jeffries, of Rock Port, Missouri, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts after majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.

NCMC Academic Honors

North Central Missouri College (NCMC) in Trenton has named students with outstanding academic achievements to the Academic Honors Lists for the 2021 spring semester. Students named to the President’s List have earned at least six credit hours and achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA) and students on the Dean’s List have earned at least six credit hours and achieved a GPA of at least 3.50.

Darius Skillen earns spring 2021 semester honors

More than 4,700 Kansas State University students have earned semester honors for their academic performance in the spring 2021 semester.

Darius Skillen, Rock Port, earned spring 2021 semester honors.

Students earning a grade point average for the semester of 3.75 or above on at least 12 graded credit hours receive semester honors along with commendations from their deans.

University of Saint Mary celebrates Class of 2021

The University of Saint Mary celebrated the close of another academic year and the passing of a major milestone in the lives of the class of 2021 at USM’s commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 15, in McGilley Field House on USM’s main Leavenworth campus.

The 2021 commencement events honored the university’s 251 graduates – a group composed of 153 undergraduate degree recipients, 56 master’s degree recipients, and 42 doctoral degree recipients.

Dalton Brake, Rock Port, received a Bachelor of Science in Biology cum laude. He received Departmental Honors (Biology), and All University Honors.
