
Colby Grant Lansdown, the son of Lance and Tami (Laflin) Lansdown and sister of Leah Lansdown, was born June 26, 2002, in Maryville, Missouri. Colby attended Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri, graduating in 2021.
Colby always had a strong work ethic. Throughout high school, Colby was employed by BK Farms. He genuinely cherished the mentorship he received from Brian Kelly. Colby was recently employed by Hendrickson Transportation, Hamburg, Iowa, as a dozer operator.
Colby enjoyed spending time with friends at his cabin on the hill. Cruising around with Coors and his buddies was another pastime Colby enjoyed.
Colby passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in Omaha, Nebraska, surrounded by family, at the age of 18.
Survivors include parents, Lance and Tami Lansdown, Rock Port; sister, Leah Lansdown and Royce Robertson, Rock Port; grandparents, Jim and Judy Laflin and Neal and Arnelle Lansdown; uncles, Mike Lansdown, Kenny and Rebekah Lansdown, Jason Laflin, and Robert and Tonya Laflin; niece and nephew, Rory and Newt Robertson; cousins, Kyli Rodgers, Tifani Pensyl, Connor Laflin, and Easton and Jaxson Laflin; and 4-legged son, Coors.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Rock Port High School Gymnasium, Rock Port, conducted by Rev. Franz Brandenburg and Devon Sons. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Colby Lansdown Memorial Fund. Online condolences may be left at www.minterfuneralchapels.com.
