A total of 33 scholarships were presented to graduates of Atchison County, Missouri, high schools Friday, June 25, 2021. Tracy Cooper, Tarkio High School Counselor, and Shauna Farmer, Rock Port High School Counselor, were both in attendance to help present the scholarships. Marisa Hedlund, Fairfax High School Counselor, was unable to attend.

This year marks the 32nd year for the Esther A. & Bruce S. Gibbs Charitable Trust Scholarship. Including the 33 presented Friday, there have been 1,008 scholarships awarded for a grand total of $1,513,085.00 since 1990. Like last year, the scholarships were presented outside at Citizens Bank & Trust in a drive-thru style format with hopes of being able to get back to hosting the traditional scholarship luncheon for next year.
