Registration for the Atchison County Fair Parade will be held from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. this Saturday on the west side of the Rock Port School. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. Come out and enjoy the show! The food stand will be open at the fairgrounds from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch. Family Fun Day activities begin at 10:30 a.m. at the fairgrounds where kids can try mutton bustin’ at 11:00 a.m. and/or the greased pig contest at 11:30 a.m.

COVID-19 is still in Atchison County and everyone who is able to is encouraged to get vaccinated. School will be starting soon and we want to keep our children healthy and allow them to attend school and participate in activities as usual, which means we, as adults, must be proactive and stay healthy ourselves.

If you ordered a picture at the Rock Port Alumni Banquet, they can be picked up at the Atchison County Mail in Rock Port. Daddy-Daughter Dance pictures can also be picked up at the Atchison County Mail, Tarkio Avalanche in Tarkio, or Fertilizer Service in Fairfax.
