August 10, 2021, will mark the 200th anniversary of Missouri’s entry as the 24th state to enter the United States. The official Missouri state dessert is the ice cream cone, so the Rock Port United Methodist Church is going to help celebrate this important date in our state’s history by giving out ice cream. They will be set up at two locations on Tuesday, August 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Look for them at 323 S. Main Street (in front of W.C. Farmer Photography) and at Food Country. Help celebrate Missouri and get some free ice cream!
